Your First Month at proof3 Scottsdale: What to Expect

Explore proof30: assessments, coached training, a personal-training session and a conversation about your routine and next steps.

Your first month at proof3 Salt River in Scottsdale brings together an assessment, coached training and a review of what comes next. Our proof30 introductory experience includes two coached assessments, a personal-training session, lifestyle and nutrition planning, and 30 days of small-group training.

Whether you’re returning to exercise or trying a new approach, the first month gives you time to understand the training, get to know the group and see how it fits into your life.

What happens first?

We’ll talk about what you’re working toward, your current activity and anything that could affect your training. Perhaps you want more stamina for hiking, strength for golf or a routine you can sustain through a busy workweek.

Your assessment gives us baseline information about your fitness and estimated body composition. Your coach uses that information to guide your starting level and make the training relevant to you.

The one-to-one session and lifestyle and nutrition conversation give you time to discuss your goals and get comfortable with the approach. Ask us about current proof30 terms before starting.

What are the first sessions like?

Our 30/30 sessions include 30 minutes of strength and 30 minutes of endurance training. Your coach explains the exercises and helps you choose suitable resistance, pace and variations.

Early sessions are a chance to learn. Ask questions, take time with unfamiliar movements and let your coach know how the exercises feel. As you become more comfortable, you’ll have a clearer sense of the effort you can manage.

We’ll discuss a weekly rhythm you can realistically maintain, taking your goals, other activities and current fitness into account.

You’ll also get to know the people training alongside you. Familiar faces and shared effort are part of what makes small-group training enjoyable.

What happens at the end of the month?

We use the second assessment and a conversation about your experience to review changes, discuss how the schedule worked and plan the next stage.

The month gives us information to work with. From there, we can identify what to continue, what to adjust and where to focus your next stage of training.
